چکیده
Objective: To evaluate the correlation between Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) findings and Arthroscopy in diagnosing anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injuries, using as gold standard. Methodology: This prospective cross-sectional study was conducted at Department of Orthopedic Surgery, Combined Military Hospital, Rawalpindi, from February to August 2019. Clinical evidence ACL injury present 127 individuals. They had an MRI well arthroscopy. The diagnostic efficacy for tears evaluated, its sensitivity, specificity, PPV, NPV, accuracy were all calculated. Comparisons arthroscopic magnetic resonance imaging yielded three classifications: True Positive (MRI verified by Arthroscopy), Negative (both negative injury), False Positive/False (differences Arthroscopy). inspection entered into SPSS 23 software tabulation analysis. When necessary, both descriptive inferential statistics used. Results: performed on patients, either or therapeutic purposes. A found when data analyzed tabulated. majority patients males (85.8%) second third decades life. injuries 89.89%, 64.28%, 84.25%, respectively. Conclusion: is accurate non-invasive modality assessing tears, showing good high sensitivity. However, remains standard injuries.

Arthroscopy after anterior cruciate reconstruction with the Leeds-Keio ligament.
The healing of anterior cruciate ligaments reconstructed with the Leeds-Keio artificial ligament was observed by arthroscopy in 42 knees and biopsy in 19 knees at intervals from 3 to 24 months after implantation. By three months the implant was covered with immature new tissue, and a dense vascular network crossed its surface. At 12 months a new ligament had developed and matured, looking like ...

متن کاملEarly reconstruction treatment of shot putters’ acute complete anterior cruciate ligament injury under knee arthroscopy
During daily training, shot putters are prone to acute complete anterior cruciate ligament injury, which is mainly treated with early reconstruction under knee arthroscopy to restore stability of injured athletes’ knee as soon as possible, help them towards early recovery and resume normal work and training. During knee arthroscopic treatment, extrusion screws are mainly used for acute complete...

Background: Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is of great aid in the diagnosis of knee lesions. Nevertheless, arthroscopy has remained the reference standard for the diagnosis of internal derangements of the knee, against which alternative diagnostic modalities should be compared. This study was designed to assess the value of MRI and clinical examination in the diagnosis of Anterior Cruciate Li...
